Checkpoint Updates

Checkpoint One (January 2016):

The documentation for checkpoint one is available at the following link

Feedback received indicated:
  • A need for the collection of student and whānau voice prior to the intervention.  This will ensure we can establish impact post project.
  • It might be helpful to establish some indicators around what you hope might occur for students as a result of being part of the literacy and innovation class.  Your research mentors will be able to assist you with this.

Our next checkpoint (June, 2016) is expected to report on:
  • Our  progress against the action plan
  • The whānau and student voice,
  •  Initial shifts in teacher practice and student learning occurring in the literacy and innovation class,
  •  Any changes to the 2016 action plan.
